They really are!
Frank and Traci bought these two kayaks for the family to use. They have been so nice to let us use them so much the last few weeks. The maiden voyage was a camping trip to our favorite island where we go boating.
After a two hours of kayaking with all or gear, Kritter saw that the island was already taken for the night by boy scouts. Luckily there is another smaller island we could camp out on. We all stayed in our tent and had a great sleep. We woke up a few times to the super moon and three trains that passed overhead.
Yesterday was awesome! The Smiths came up from Provo to go to Bear Lake with all the Walker FAM. The kayaks came along of course. It was fun to take the little girls out on them and experience the waves. We had a dinner at an awesome campsites in Logan canyon that most people had stayed at the previous day in the RV.
Cade and I topped an amazing day off with an amazing night! We went to Mantua with the kayaks to watch their firework show…. From the middle of Mantua res. BEST FIREWORKS EVER! Not only was it a good show but we had the best seats! The water was glass so each firework reflected off the water. Mantua is surrounded by mountains so the explosions from the fireworks echoed all around the little valley. It was amazing and we hope we can keep it as a tradition!
